Sondia Bayard-Lindor

Sondia Bayard-Lindor, MSN, APRN, FNP-BC is a professor of Nursing at an accredited state college in Florida where she has been a faculty since 2010 which, during that time, has consistently been rated as one of the top two schools in Florida as a result of their high NCLEX board scores. She received her Associate degree in Nursing from Miami Dade College.  She obtained her Bachelor and Master of Science degrees in Nursing from the University of Phoenix.  She also pursued a Post-Masters Certificate in Family Nurse Practitioner track from Purdue Global. She has been a nurse for the last 26 years and has spent the last 12 years in Nursing education. The majority of her experience has been as a critical care nurse (ICU), Medical Surgical, Orthopaedic, Mother-Baby, Telemetry and Oncology. She also works as Family Nurse practitioner in Woman Health, providing care to at risk population, which she enjoys. In addition, she is certified by the Association of Colleges and Universities (ACUE) in best practices in helping students develop skill, knowledge needed to help students engaged, motivated and ready to learn and succeed. Outside of her work, Sondia enjoys spending time with her husband and two kids. When she is not working, she loves reading, going to the beach, gardening and cooking. In addition, she volunteers and participate in mission work both at the community level and other countries.
